Simply put, DEI/Woke has been pushing equality of outcome over meritocracy.
instead of the best doctors, They slant the entry tests so that we get 30% black, 10% gay, 50% women, etc. to address historic grievances.
Look into the FAA, where they replaced the technical exam with a biographical assessment instead.
end result is qualified whites, asians aren't picked by minorities are with far lower test grades.
At it's ugly core, it's about fighting racism by being racist against "white/asian privileges".
The smart kids make the new software, medicine , tech tools. Not the C student in the back of the class .
