your post is based on pure conjecture that all of a sudden something will change. That's the problem. It's "maybe it will all of sudden matter" but it doesn't take into account it has never really mattered more than winning. The #1 SOS team will never get in at 8-4 over a 12-0 team with the #100 SOS. History shows this.
