If Boise St. had lost to UNLV on Friday, no one would have been upset if they had been left out. I actually think Boise's resume before the championship game was every bit as good as SMU's. I just think the ACC was very weak and SMU benefitted by having a cupcake of a schedule where they didn't have to play Miami, Clemson or Ga Tech in the regular season.
