ACC only deserved their automatic bid. SMU's best wins are: an overtime win against Duke and a late touchdown win against Louisville.

When their name came up on the board, did anyone at Penn State say, darn it, we really wanted Alabama, Ole Miss or USCe as SMU is better. Our path is much more difficult??
