I am sure they could have brought Grill back to get the 1-2 SEC wins you desperately wanted. Instead the recognized it was a lost season, and I think they try bringing him back.

I also think they try bringing Tonje back. Those 2 with Bates and Boateng would essentially handle all the wing minutes next season.

That leaves another ball handler to go with Robinson and 1-2 bigs as the targets during the portal season.


If they can’t fill those needs then next year will be bad and there’s a good chance that the new AD moves on.
