Facilities can be upgraded at any time, but the current "wild west" of NIL and portal is likely a limited opportunity.

I think this "gift" was probably from a contractor rather than a true donor, and probably arranged by DRF to get just enough "NIL" money to bail out her failing basketball hire with some NBA-caliber transfers.
