whether she 'makes' the tournament or not, we all know what we have in Pingeton. Middling teams, occasional upset to get excited about, and nothing meaningful overall. None of that is going to change. If she stays here another 10 years they will look like the past 10 years, most likely without a Sophie type player and the success they got from having her.
What really should happen is the AD decide what they want out of WBB (assumed they have done this) and then decide who can possibly make it happen and how to afford them. Move forward when you know you can get that person. Or decide WBB is going to be what it is and give it the minimum resources and a carousel of 10-12 year coaches that never accomplish anything.
