Your point , improvement , falling short of tourney bid, and Pingeton getting another year ( extension ? ) is a good one .
Some improvement and falling short of a bid might be one of the more likely outcomes. If several of the freshman were immediate contributors and project as solid players that might be an argument for Pingeton hanging on. That would likely mean they have a post player among the group who can help.
If this years recruiting is a bust , and I’m expecting it will be ,then there is little path forward .
There may be 5-6 seniors on this years team , they’ll need to recruit.
