As was noted on this board, kansas ( yikes - kansas? ) just got commitments from two 4 stars for 2024 - along with an assortment of 3 stars.
Mizzou has previously landed 5 stars (Luther) and 4 stars.
But now - with most all of the top rated recruits in the state for 2024 going elsewhere, I see a lot of pearl clutching on this board and the cry of “It’s NIL, it’s NIL”.
If that is the way the game is played, shouldn't we figure it out and find a way to keep the instate kids- and quit with excuses?
I hope Drink finishes with a flourish with Wingo and others & proves me wrong - but too many of the states top players don’t even have Mizzou in their consideration.
I thought Drink was an offensive genius - that’s clearly not the case.
I thought Drink was a recruiting dynamo - 2023 & 2024 - ain’t seeing it.
I’m hanging my hopes for the 2023 season on new OC Kirby Moore - making the decisions on QB’s and calling the plays.
