to be onsite full-time and their actions showed this could have been prevented, I would certainly be critical.
I would be criticizing the cops if they were onsite and didn't take the proper steps to minimize the damage, just like Uvalde.
You live in this fantasy world where you think security (private or public) can totally prevent crime. Their jobs are to respond to and minimize crime, not prevent it.
