government will provide adequate services for no cost. I understand that you are in sales so critical thinking isn't something you engage in very often. Why is there a lack of choices for schools? Mail delivery? Fire fighting? Do you think those industries are just organically inferior to the socialized version?
The private sector cannot compete with government. They have to consider costs, while the government doesn't. Government can spend to their hearts' content. Private companies cannot. When there is one entity in the market who does not have to turn a profit to remain in business, it creates a huge disadvantage to the others.
