but those two years-'13 &'14 were the pinnacle of the Pinkel era, so in that sense they were outliers. The success in the B12 did lead to better things, and is the point I was trying to make. If when the 2010 round of realignment came around, but suppose we had the 2000 or 2020 (or 1990 for that matter) version of our football team, would we be in the SEC? I don't think so. We were very fortunate that realignment came around when it did, when our program was good.
