In all honesty, I have found that to be true with the many LSU fans that I’ve met over the years. I lived in Shreveport for about nine months, and had some great discussions with your fellow fans, who kept bringing up Al Onofrio’s name again and again. I was also on a three month work assignment in Baton Rouge and was invited to join a group of LSU fans at a baseball game in 2008 because I was wearing a Mizzou t-shirt and a Cardinals cap. They could not have been friendlier or nicer.
I’ve also been very well treated in Oxford and every other SEC campus and stadium I’ve visited before MU joined the SEC and afterwards. IMHO if Mizzou had joined the SEC in the 60’s or 70’s, no Tiger fan would have given a rat’s a$$ what an opposing fan thought of us. I’m too much of an old fart to want to try to understand why Mizzou fans care what some degenerate anonymous posters say.
