How can you say that 2013 and 2014 are outliers

after Mizzou won 3 divisional titles in the Big XII? Mizzou’s record in the SEC didn’t just happen in a vacuum.

The actual outlier of all outliers was the 2015 season that the program or the university has not yet fully recovered from, especially with the bad hire for a president prior to it and a bad hire for a coach coming on top of it. You have to be made of sterner stuff to have even survived that fiasco.

There are university presidents, athletic directors, and college football coaches who privately said “there, but for the grace of God, go I” looking at Mizzou in 2015.
