One man's 'free will' is sometimes another's inevitability of choice given the programming provided.

Or in other words, if I limit your options severely, then offer you one or two slightly more positive options, you'll likely choose one of those.

But is that free will?

Go to the hood and dump money into educational centers, counseling centers and tons of motivational events and just keep pumping money into those hoods until they evolve well past the most well-to-do neighborhoods in America.

Will the well-healed children in THESE neighborhoods still be choosing sports as a career at the same levels they do today.

Not likely.

Exploitation then isn't about the 'free will choice' made in extremely negative situations, it's about free will choice when choices are abundant.

The snakes that feed off of these communities know full well what they are doing.

As do the fans.

It's a soft form of gladiator war-fare - nothing more, nothing less.
