What a farce.

NIL opportunities are supposed to happen organically through companies seeking to leverage a player's name/image/likeness to sell products and increase their profits.

What it's quickly and predictably devolved into is just pay-for-play... teams scrambling to crowd-fund the bribes needed to recruit and keep players from transferring.
