First, Ukraine was not part of Russia. Therefore, it doesn't matter if it was a soverign country or not (most of the world recognized it as such). Russia has no right to just grab it against the will of its citizens. What Putin is attempting to do is exactly the same as someone assaulting you and taking your watch, wallet, etc. It's inexcusable and Putin/Russia should be stopped and made to pay a very high price.
