Russia is seeking to expand by taking by force territory that was not part of it against the will of the people living there.

Putin's actions are the classic actions of a despot bent on conquering all that he can. Stopping him now and driving him back to Russia is a better course of action than allowing him to continue to inflict death and harm on innocent people. There is no rational justification for what he has done to date nor to what he clearly contemplastes doing in the foreseeable future.

The only appropriate remedy for Putin's acitons is regime change in Russia.
