He brought no one with him with Missouri ties and Andy Hill was basically forced on him by Mike Alden. otherwise he would’ve brought his entire Toledo staff

It was telling that no one else wanted his staff if they were that good they would have offers and someone wouldve hired mire Then just Dave Christiansen who failed at Wyoming

Pinkel had a golden opportunity and he dropped the ball when it came to staffing. Colorado Nebraska and Kansas State all melted down on their own accord. The opportunity was there to put Missouri’s foot on their throats and dominated the division

As you noted it certainly wasn’t the worst of times but it could’ve been much better the continuity thing what is a joke was nothing more than excuse for why some didn’t move on
