It’s like minor league sports for real now. You watch because they are the minor league team representing your town/ state/school. But players gonna come and go like in the minor leagues to an extent. I do think a core group will likely always be around 3 to 5 years if they are starter quality/and become starters early. Gonna be hard to see starters transfer the most. I doubt fans will care much about backups that leave for PT. Portal will allow a team to fill immediate needs if the coach can land them. Gonna suck for group of 5 and lower level programs the most as P5 coaches steal their stars.
