so Pinkel walked into a mud pit. From year 3 on, Pinkel finished in the top 3 every year except for 2012 (first year in the SEC) and 2015 (**** show). I'm for long and patient but the differences between Pinkel and Drinkwitz have been pointed out and I would have thougth Drinkwitz's network of coaches given the number of places he coached at would have panned out better in our coaching staff. Was he pressured to hire Wilks? (I kind of remember a thread where Wilks name came up during the Pinkel years) or did he blind hire? And financially we're kind of locked into these decisions. Wilks would cost more than Odom to fire.
