and was unthinkable.

But now that TX & OU have destroyed the Big 12, the SEC can pick up the pieces for pennies on the dollar.

In an actual merger the Big 12 commissioner would have behaved as if they had some leverage - but now they not only have no leverage - they are staring down the barrel of total destruction.

This entire thing has been mismanaged by TX & OU - I'd rather see the SEC catapult the situation into a massive win for the SEC and a tiny win for TX/OU.

Right now TX/OU are getting too much out of this, IMHO.
