I get no satisfaction out of stating largely negative views on the MU men’s basketball situation.
I try to not allow my long support for MU cloud my views on what’s taking place.
Reminiscing about MU basketball years ago, there was a time when you had reasonable expectations for a winning season, maybe a conference championship some times, and at least the possibility of a long run in the NCAA tournament in some years.
At the present those kind of hopes are off the table , and I can’t see how they return.
Yeah , at times it’s way more fun to post on MU women’s basketball , or softball , teams that have some prospects for competitive, or even better , seasons.
