What do those schools of choice do with problem students

My point is that those schools already have a huge advantage that most struggling public schools do not, parental involvement. Even if the school in question is free the parents had to make an effort to enroll their kids. That is probably number 1++ in the success of private schools.
What do those private schools do with their problem students? The discipline problems, the non-Learners and the disabled? The answer is that they usually ship them back to the public schools who have to take them. I have taught in both the KC and KCK districts and even in those districts probably 80% of the students require no special services. But that other 20% that do about account for well overhalf of the budget. There are a number of kids in those schools that have a dedicated para-educator that does nothing but follow them around from class to class because it is required to meet their educational needs. What would a private school do if they had to meet that same requirement?
Private and public play but different rules. If you do away with public schools would the private ones be willing to pay by those same rules?
I seriously doubt it.
