I like Watson alot. Brings a good, positive, energy even when things aren't necessarily going his way. Which, admittedly, is quite often. That said positive energy and hustle don't earn you minutes at this level.

He's athletic enough to be more. But, he's currently in no man's land. Hes not a knock down shooter, he's not a ball handler or playmaker, and he can't get to the rim or really create his own shot.

Honestly I don't hold out much hope that he develops into any of these things. If he hasn't done it by now he probably won't. When he signed I thought he could be a reliable 3 level scorer. But, at this point it would be awesome if he just shot around 40% from 3 and played solid D. We need that guy to emerge from this group. Or, find one on the transfer market.
