Like I said, 1987 and 1990 were bad tourney losses

Terrible and crushing in fact, regretfully the kind the NCAA tourney has become known for. I think you could validly argue he had bad losses in 1981 and 1983, although those are somewhat arbitrary and I think you would have to be taking a purposefully negative position to consider them as such. Regardless those were winnable games and a good performance would have seen us advance.

I can't really think of any other examples though that would be used to indicate he was a bad tourney coach.
