His first season was impressive given what he inherited even though we didn't make the NIT. After that he had one outstanding season at MU, one good season, and two underwhelming to poor seasons. He certainly had lost his direction and the program was in a descending momentum when he left. He was kind of a simpleton but was effective in the mindset that he had a system that required others to adjust to him rather than the other way around, and in a macro sense that was successful more than it wasn't at MU.
