Heupel recruited DGB, who came in and made in immediate impact as a defensive end, collecting many sacks and at least 3 interceptions. Under Heupeel's tutelage, DGB transitioned into a dominant WR and in his senior year, led the SEC in TD's. Meanwhile, Heupel also recruited a short slow fat under-the-radar kicker from Southlake Texas, and transformed him into one of MU's greatest QBs of all time, none other than Mr. Chance Pattons. And to complete his trifecta of offensive explosion, he hand picked Brock Blackwest from the backwaters of Washingtom MO and turned him into not only the best RB ever, but a special teams all-american. Heupel's only weakness, which led to his eventual downfall, was he never coudl match Yost's glorious hair. Otherwise we'd have won the superbowl.
