He would have been fired in a couple years based on his team’s talent and record in Orlando.
His offense is gimmicky. He would get mad at receivers who continued to run their routes when the ball wasn’t getting thrown to their side, because he wanted them fresh for the next hurry-up play. As somebody else pointed out, it didn’t work well at all against good defenses. Also, it requires a strong-armed trigger man at QB and really fast receivers with great hands.
To be successful, he has to change his system and recruit better or he’s going to be bad.
The biggest condemnation I can give you is that I’m glad you hired him.
