Deaton publicly admitted that when David Boren talked about OU, OState, Texas and Texas Tech going to the Pac 12 that his fear was Mizzou would end up in a lesser conference (i.e. the Big Sky) and the program's tv revenue would be reduced to an unacceptable level.
