but for the rest of the state, no. We had the series for a basis, but we beat the **** out of them so they'd been the same as Arkansas for us. And our rivalry would have been with a ****ty team. I'm in STL so I liked beating them but their program has been on the downswing for more than 20 years now. Now I just feel bad for them.
When I think of our rivals, I think of SC, TN, GA, KY, and FL in that order. I don't think of Ark or Vandy. I should think of KY more of as a rival because their program is possibly passing us and some other programs who don't take them seriously.
In the Big 10, potential rivals would be Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois. Are any of those as exciting as the ones I listed? Not really. I don't know the divisions of the Big 10 so I'm not sure which fall which way.
And last argument for the SEC, we're the cold state games for everyone else. Do you want to play Wisconsin or Minnesota or Michigan in November?
