a) The Big 10 would never have embraced us.
b) They saw us as a patsy for Illinois and other lower ranking teams.
c) They took Nebraska, on the downslide, over us on the upslide at the time. We would have done better in the Big 10 but our success would have been questioned in the light of the SEC difficulty. We're in the #1 conference, which should be d).

And while the hugs and kisses from the SEC are not from all around, there are fan bases and teams that do like and welcome us. We're the SEC, F Yeah!
