Is that an analyst in a particular area works on that area for their entire career. Then whenever that area comes into the spotlight, be it Middle Eastern affairs, North Korea, or in this case coronavirus. Those analysts get the centerstage and finally get to crow about what they have been analyzing for their entire careers. They fall in love with their analysis and have a very hard time changing it and an even harder time admitting that it’s not as big a problem as they’ve spent their career focusing on.
