It is not my insistence. Were it up to me, the path would be wide and open. But Matthew records this about the reality of salvation:

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)

One day all knees will bow. All will know. And all who reject the free gift of Christ will know all of the times they were presented with truth and chose to follow the truth of their own creation. And that makes me truly sad. I want that for no one.
