Does freedom of religion mean you never have to be exposed

to a religion not of your choosing?

Outside of a law mandating you belong to a certain religion how does the government force a religion on you?

Would a government official saying a prayer before the start of a meeting be forcing a religion on people? Am I assumed to be so weak willed that simply hearing a Jewish prayer is going to force my conversion?

Does giving tax money to religious organizations force their beliefs on anyone? There are religious charities of all faiths that do very good work and I would have no problem with government funds going to them.

There are people who have went so overboard with this that they believe teachers cannot wear a cross necklace while teaching.
