years since the Mizzou Men's basketball team has had a first team all conference selection from St. Louis - Stipo.

It's been 13 years since a STL player has made an honorable mention all-conference team - Jimmy McKinney received one vote his Sr. year.

Did you really believe Cuonzo was going to overcome the long held belief that top flight STL hoops talent needs to steer clear of Columbia in three seasons? Something that Norm (over the last half of his career), Quin, & Mike A couldn't do.

In three years he's landed three STL metro guys (Tilmon, Watson, & M. Smith) that are better than anyone since Norm. It may not happen overnight but it's headed in the right direction.
