State of recruiting 2019

Reading recent posts it seems there are a variety of opinions on the quality and success of Missouri recruiting both this year and in recent years.
A fair number of posters are expressing disappointment with this years recruiting.
For college basketball fans, following the recruitment of potential recruits through the weeks and months every year is part of being a fan.
A reasonable assessment for Missouri fans might be that after hundreds of posts discussing who Mizzou might get a commit from , as the recruiting begins to wind down we have seemingly struck out.
The one commit they have seems to me to speak of desperation.
It seems factual that Mizzou is not a destination for the states elite recruits. The fact that not one player from the state picked Mizzou this year is beyond sad.
I am not sure if I personally would hold Martin and staff wholly responsible or write it off as just the ongoing state of Mizzou basketball .
I have been a big fan for decades , and now try to ignore the recruiting process to avoid failed hopes.
That’s how I see it, I’m sure some fans disagree.
