the "it" factor to make it happen. He's charming. He showed that he was capable of landing 5-star blue chip recruits at Cal & Tennessee. And he's an STL guy himself.

Maybe we need a recruiter like Bruce Pearl or Rick Barnes. They're tearing it up on the recruiting trail at Auburn & Tennessee. I think Ben Howland could have landed some of these higher rated recruits as well.
