Can it meet those needs 100% of the time? Can it be counted on at peak demand?

What about demand in the middle of the winter when solar is at its least efficient but life sustaining demand is at its highest?

The people pushing renewables the hardest tend to gloss over the problem areas and overstate the positives. In its current form renewable energy is nothing more that a supplemental energy source.
