creationist argues that morality must come from God, I show them scriptures cheering smashing of babies upon rocks or getting saved from a destruction of a city due to sin then getting drunk and having sex with your daughters.

One can look at the Bible and find all kinds of scriptures that would sound horrible morally.

I don't really choose to read the Old Testament that way. While I don't believe the creation account, I read it as good people do bad things too. From a theology perspective Idon't take much literal. King David had a guy killed to cover adult and knocking up a woman. If I read the Bible literally, it would seem God killed the baby. I don't believe that is the case.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
