Here's something I would love to be answered.

1. Yes, a god could have created it all. Not knowing how it all began (nor will we ever know) the concept of a god is certainly as viable as any other cause for it all. But then why does man impart to this force the traits of loving compassion as well as being all powerful? If god was of that nature why does he allow the birth of, for example, deformed babies - since he would have the power to prevent that? For that matter, why does this force allow man to brutalize each other in every possible way thruout their entire history?
2. Since an all-powerful god could do anything he wishes with man, why was it necessary for man to be "saved" thru the final torture of a human being? Why not just skip that step? And if that is critical to man's well-being, why do it after hundreds of thousands of years of man's existence? That seems to show unnecessary favoritism to some people over others.
When you answer those questions in a realistic manner, as surely you would be able to, else why be religious, then I would consider being equally religious.
