It is the metric argument all over again, there is no one that seriously argues that English units are superior to metric. For English units you have to memorize numerous conversions that have no rhyme or reason. With metric all you have to do is move the decimal. We don’t use the superior system because there was resistance from adults who did not want to learn the new system.
