Because Kim didn’t have anybody better/more experienced. He was/is a volume shooter and when you shoot that much, you put up points. And then these writers that name them to these teams look only at box scores and don’t watch the games and see that he averaged 9 points a game and then they fawn all over him. The guy has no athleticism at all. The offense bogs down with him as he yet again tries to make a play he is incapable of making at this level and gets rejected. I would bet money that if they kept stats on how many times over a career a player has had his shot rejected, KP would be #1 in Mizzou history. Plus his lack of athleticism kills him on defense too. No lateral movement so his guys just blow by him or he fouls. Pretty typical for a Kim’s Kore player...
