... perspective as a former coach and per your very first post in this thread. Kids just are not sure the coach will be around, and are not sure he can win. It's pretty simple, really.

As for the contract extension: everyone knows that a buy-out can happen ... and if Missouri wins fewer than 6 games this year, BO will be gone.
