expect most players or even a lot to make the school's history and public perception to be the main factor in picking a school. Maybe they're all so egotistical they have no doubts they'll play over the rest of the team instead of thinking that as good as they are someone else may be better.

I wouldn't apply that to the top dozen or so schools however.
