Terms can sometimes throw people for a loop

There's nothing new under the sun. Another term may be "small ball" but really not. It's just having multiple people able to handle and advance the ball. Not the old big get's the rebound and look for the "point guard" to bring it up. Now the "big" can get the rebound and bring it up himself because a lot of them possess guard skills. Some people just get stuck in a traditional style. Like I said it's really nothing new or bad because people adjust. Styles change in every sport. Mizzou has technically seen this style on several occasions.

I'm sure I may have missed a couple but look at the personnel on each one of those teams. Yes they may have had what they called a point guard but they had multiple ball handlers. Some didn't have a true center but every one of those teams were outstanding giving us some thrilling basketball.
