The FBI takes seriously its obligations to the FISA Court and its compliance with procedures overseen by career professionals in the Department of Justice and the FBI. We are committed to working with the appropriate oversight entities to ensure the continuing integrity of the FISA process,” added the agency.
this is an outright lie as evidenced by the court's ruling on their specific FISA abuses regarding 702 "about" queries.
their grave concern is getting caught abusing their authority.
and one last thing, if their are material omissions is it b/c they didn't release them to Congress due to their stonewalling? and if there are material omissions that change the facts they should be busting their collective butts getting that information to the committee but i've seen ZERO interest in "correcting" any issues. just a bunch of fingerpointing.
this is a turf battle. the FBI doesn't want reigned it. it's crystal clear.
