He was given reprieve one time, but not the next. We can bemoan the softening of America, but the verbally abusing young women is not a good look. When I said 'wash away a career' I meant the ridiculous demands to fire Wolf. By firing Wolf the players got what they wanted, but I doubt that will ever happen again. The truth is that Wolf should have been fired for Dereliction of Duty. Yes I'm still chapped that players tarnished careers, but Wolf can look no further than the mirror when contemplating his demise. However, that doesn't change how distasteful the players were...distasteful and misguided. He should have been fired, just not to meet any demands of the players or protesters.....if that makes sense.
