self imposed. Yes there are still racist out there but they are across the board and come in all colors and genders. But institutional racism in America is a thing of the past.
Yes black schools still under achieve but that is because black communities do not value those schools.
Yes jails are full of black men but that is because black men commit a disproportionate amount of the crime.
Yes black men who find themselves in the criminal justice system usually get harsher sentences but once again that is because the black culture most come from is very machismo and they are incapable of at least faking the contrition that is necessary to get lighter sentences.
