More if they win the first round game of the SEC tournament. This year the league will not be easier. There will probably be a minimum six bids to the tournament and maybe as many as 8. There were five last year and the league was considered easier No more than three of the thirteen non conference games can be lost. League play can be no worst then 11-7 (which last year would have been 5th in the league and made the tournament). That would be a total if they win the first game in the conference tournament, as they did last year, 22-10.

South Carolina had that exact record last year pre NCAA Tournament, Vandy was 19-15 leapfrogging both Alabama and Ole Miss into the tournament due to quality of wins. So even if they fall short of 20, the quality of wins and losses matter. Ben Simmons and LSU are always brought up as a comparison to Michael Porter and this team. Whereas they did go 11-7 in the SEC they didn’t make it to 20 wins and had a couple of bad non conference losses.
